Come try the pottery wheel!
During this one hour (sometimes goes to 1.5 hours) class, you'll be shown a demo of how to use the wheel and then get time to try yourself!
Because this is made for beginners, we make a bowl, which is one of the easier forms. Once you're gone, we let it firm up and trim the bottom so it looks like a bowl. It then goes through the kiln, gets glazed, and goes through the kiln again.
You can choose to come back to glaze your own piece about 2 weeks after class. Once glazed, it usually takes another 1-2 weeks to be finished. If you'd like us to glaze it for you we can do that for an extra fee. If we glaze them, it takes about 4 weeks total.

- This class is great for ages 12+. Have younger kids you'd like to bring? Consider making sure you have enough people to fill the class so they don't compare themselves to adults. Clay can be a frustrating experience for anyone. If bringing kids, please make sure they can handle frustration and failure without impacting those around them negatively.
